The Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) and House of Ruth Maryland are producing this lunch and learn session. This training will provide those working with intimate partner violence survivors as well as members of the community with important information on three significant new laws for 2022. MNADV's Public Policy Director Melanie Shapiro, Esq., Dorothy Lennig, Esq., & Luann Edwards, Esq., from House of Ruth Maryland, and Debbie Feinstein, Esq., from the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office will explain the following pieces of legislation which have either already taken effect or go into effect on October 1, 2022.
