Please join Councilmember Evan Glass for a proclamation recognizing Equal Pay Day on Tuesday, March 25. Councilmember Glass’ first piece of legislation in 2019 was the Pay Equity Act which prohibits Montgomery County from requesting salary history or pay stubs from potential employees. As we know, this practice perpetuates the gender pay gap, which disproportionally impacts women, especially Black and Latina women.
