Our chapter met in August, at which time we added to our leadership team members Julie Wiater Ransel as (Interim) Executive Vice President and Kaniya Harris as (Interim) Community Liaison. Nancy Nyland continues to update our website and Bekah Ciliax will help with social media. Treasurer Holly Joseph and I —President Jeannette Feldner —welcome and thank these women for stepping up to help our chapter. Vacancies include Action Vice President, Secretary, Membership and Task Force leaders.

At our September meeting, we would like to talk about what you're interested in our local chapter focusing on during the remainder of 2023 and the next six months of 2024. We are an action driven organization, so we would like to focus on actions and advocacy that support the six core issues of NOW:

Reproductive Rights and Justice
Economic Justice
Ending Violence Against Women
Racial Justice
LGBTQIA+ Rights
Constitutional Equality

We want to combine these objective actions with fun activities, so bring your ideas and let's get planning! Newbies to NOW are welcome, too. Find out more about NOW locally, statewide, and nationally.
