Malaika Adero, author, editor, and chronicler of the stories of barrier-breaking Black women, will discuss her recent work—the first fully illustrated, photo-driven biography of Kamala Harris’s life and work. Adero will discuss why she wrote the book, her intentions for the text and commentary, what she found most intriguing in her research of the Vice President, and current affairs and issues concerning her role.
